Integrated Low Threshold Flap Door |
|
The new Generation of Door Shut-Off
New and patented is the safeguarding of the main closing edge in case of automatically operated doors with integrated low threshold flap door.

Using the usual optical closing edge safeguard, each one transmitter and receiver is integrated in the bottom rubber. With the new system, two advanced optical systems which are installed at the in- and outside contact-freely secure the danger area.
The bottom rubber doesn‘t apply and is replaced by space-saving and low sealing lips. The challenge during developing this system consisted of the requirement to develop a sturdy and simply constructed system with only a few components for less wear. Simultaneously, it has to offer reliable protection for persons or items according to the high safety requirements and thus also has to be insensitive compared to external influences such as sun reflection.

Energy-Saving is Trendy! |
|
|
Technical improvements of heating systems, economical machines and insulating of buildings are the order of the day. That is because 60 % of the total energy consumption fall upon the room heating.
Door openings of workshops and car dealerships play a significant role in respect of energy losses. Insulated sectional and overhead folding doors meet the required noise and heat insulation values. But the rising glazing percentage reaching more light and view poses a problem when weaker products are applied. This is where the manufacturer saves and the secundary costs have to be borne by the building owner or hirer.

Old meets New ... a story of a successful symbiosis |
|
|
Every now and then, we are pleased about challenges on the part of our clientele. In this case, the architecture office Velde from Euskirchen, for which we equip Carglass- and Pit-Stop branches with sectional doors for years, accosted us with a special request.
Former locksmithery
The owner of the architecture office buyed a former industry monument and wanted to redesign it to an exclusive residential building. In close collaboration with our field work and our technical department, Mr. Velde looked for a solution for an optically pleasing and technically orientated separation between kitchen and dining room. In mutual dialogue, a sectional door finally was favoured. |
